  • ¼ cup plus 2 tablespoons tahini
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice about 2 small lemons
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • ½ inch ginger grated if not using a blender
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • teaspoon black pepper or to taste
  • Salt to taste


  • Blend or whisk the tahini, lemon juice, maple syrup, ginger, turmeric, and garlic powder.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of warm water and mix well until the desired consistency.
