Blueberry Açaí Bowl

A refreshing blend of frozen blueberries and ripe bananas, topped with dragon fruit, high satiety granola and nut butter, this healthy breakfast bowl is bursting with flavour

  • 150 g frozen blueberries
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 2 tbsp acai powder
  • 2 pitted dates
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Splash of milk or milk alternative


  • Dragon fruit sliced
  • Nut butter – almond peanut butter
  • Banana sliced
  • High satiety granola


  • Place all the ingredients into a blender.
  • Blend and slowly add a splash of milk, the texture should be like thick, soft serve ice cream.
  • Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite toppings – I love adding my high satiety granola, peanut butter, sliced banana and dragon fruit if I’m feeling extra fancy.


The key is using frozen fruit and a strong blender also adding the splash of milk slowly ensures it doesn’t turn into a smoothie, you want to be able to eat this with a spoon and top it with granola and nut butter.
If you do not have frozen banana, don't worry about it, just add a very ripe banana and maybe some extra ice into the blender.
