  • 1 kg chicken wings
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 tsp Chinese 5 spice
  • 3 tbsp baking powder
  • Sea salt and black pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds to garnish
  • Spring onions to garnish

Honey Sriracha Glaze

  • 4 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp sriracha
  • 2 tsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2 drops of sesame oil


  • Preheat your air fryer.
  • In a bowl, combine the spices, and baking powder and season well with salt and pepper. Toss the wings in the mixture and place the chicken wings in the basket and season with salt and pepper.
  • Pop them into an airfryer at 190 for 20 - 25 minutes, shaking a couple of times through the process so they cook evenly until the skin is golden brown and crispy.
  • Meanwhile, make the sauce. Mix together the ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue cooking for about 5 minutes, until the sauce has reduced and thickened slightly.
  • Once the wings are cooked, transfer to a bowl and toss with your sauce if desired or serve the sauce on the side.
  • Sprinkle with sesame seeds and finely sliced spring onions.
