Hot Honey Roasted Nuts

  • 360 g mixed nuts such as almonds, cashews, walnuts, pecans, peanuts
  • 85 g honey
  • 30 g olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp chilli powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • Sprinkle of mixed sesame seeds to garnish


  • Preheat your oven to 170℃ and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together the honey, olive oil or melted butter, salt and spices until well combined.
  • Add the mixed nuts to the bowl and toss until they are evenly coated with the honey mixture.
  • Spread the coated nuts in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Roast the nuts in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, stirring once halfway through, until they are golden brown and fragrant.
  • Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the nuts cool completely on the pan.
  • Once cooled, break apart any nuts that are stuck together and transfer them to an airtight container for storage.
