Ingredients

  • 125 ml red wine
  • 125 ml ginger ale
  • Ice cubes
  • Sliced citrus fruits lemon, lime, orange for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Fill a glass with ice cubes. You can use a wine glass or a highball glass for this cocktail.
  • Pour equal parts red wine and ginger ale into the glass. Start with around 1 part red wine and 1 part ginger ale, adjusting the ratio to your taste preferences.
  • Gently stir the mixture to combine the flavours without losing the carbonation from the ginger ale.
  • Optionally, garnish the drink with slices of citrus fruits like lemon, lime, or orange for a burst of freshness. This step is entirely optional but can add a nice visual appeal and extra flavour to your drink.
  • Serve chilled and enjoy your festive twist on the classic Tinto de Verano!
