Woodhouse Food & Wellness Retreat ​

This is a day for you. Simplicity, nature and a little luxury, this exclusive and intimate experience will allow you to relax and unwind and embrace a new approach to a modern lifestyle that works for you. You are granted permission to rest, to be at ease, to take a few moments to look after you. It is a chance to go inwards, reflect a little, learn a little, become mindful and leave with a new mindset and some tools to help you to live a better life .

Aisling is thrilled to return to Woodhouse Estate for another season of her food and wellness experiences at the luxurious country location of Woodhouse Estate. Nestled in along the Copper Coast and the Waterford Greenway this is a stunning location to retreat to.
With mindfulness and wellness at the fore Aisling has planned the most wonderful day of self care, mindfulness, reflection, adventure, movement and fabulous food for you.
The whole day is a vibe. They are centred around conscious luxe, considered mindful moments and a welcoming atmosphere making it the perfect place to develop new skills, meet like-minded people and experience stillness. Nature, deliciousness and fun are all essential parts of the day helping you to relax, reflect, reset and restore.
This immersive restorative day of self-care is limited to a small group, so everyone receives the space and time they require to get the most from the day. Take timeout to reconnect with your inner self and rejuvenate your mind, body and spirit. Come on your own or with a friend; either way, it will be a great way to meet like-minded people and make new social connections.

    10am arrive at Woodhouse to be welcomed with a wellness breakfast. Great local coffee, herbal teas, Granola, fresh local strawberries, pastries

    10.30am Mindfulness & Mindset Workshop
    – During this 45-minute session, you will be guided through some MBSR (mindful-based stress reduction ) techniques to help improve your decision-making, prioritise your goals, lean into more wellness-based practices each day to help you live your best life. Aisling will also guide you through some mindful based eating strategies to help you improve your relationship with food.
  • Spring Asparagus Galette
    11.30 Yoga in the Walled Garden of Woodhouse Estate.
    A 1 hour 15 minutes yoga and meditation session in the stunning setting of the walled garden in full bloom.
  • Aisling Larkin wellness day journaling
    12.45 Wellness Cookery Demonstration
    Aisling will show you how to create some key wellness recipes that will become your weekly staples. You also get a free copy of Aisling’s Ebook Food For Wellness

    A stunning selection of local salads, grazing boards and some sweet treats, this is the perfect end to part one of the day.

    We pop back in the cars and drive 10 minutes down the coast the to beach.

    2.30pm 5Km Coastal Greenway Walk
    Take time to reset, connect and be grateful. We will stop and be sure to get some pics at one of THE most scenic parts of the greenway.

    4pm Sea Dip & Sauna Time
    . This is one of the most exhilarating parts of the day. You will become brave, tap into your inner warrior and relish the dopamine hit. As the cold water immersion takes hold, do a couple of minutes, then head up to the Hot Pod Sauna to warm up and savour the stunning views and aroma of sandalwood. Dip and repeat for 30 minutes, then a quick change, say your goodbyes until the next time and head home feeling revitalised, refreshed and reset.

With workplace wellness training from TU Trinity Dublin and a post grad in Organisational Leadership from Oxford, along with spending 18 months creating the world-leading Enrich Food & Wellness programme, Aisling understands what is important for each stakeholder and how to deliver it.

    This part of the day is optional and entirely up to you. We will walk and wander the stunning estate, bathe in nature and savour all the natural wellness Ashley Park has to offer. If you choose to take a dip in the lake this may be one of the most exhilarating parts of the day. You will become brave, tap into your inner warrior and relish the dopamine hit. As the cold water immersion takes hold, do a couple of minutes, then snuggle up get warm and feel all the good vibes. Then a quick change, say your goodbyes until the next time and head home feeling revitalised, refreshed and reset.
