Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 10-12oz Rib-eye steaks
  • 8 Dublin bay prawns/langoustines / cold water Norwegian tiger prawns
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • Olive oil
  • Sea salt & black pepper
  • 50 g garlic butter

Instructions

  • Heat a griddle pan or heavy-based frying pan over high heat with oil salt and pepper. Allow to smoke slightly.
  • Sear and cook the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, for medium-rare or longer depending on personal preference.
  • Remove steaks from the pan and wrap in tin foil, allow to rest and keep warm.
  • In the same hot pan, cook prawns for 2-3, add garlic butter to the pan and place steaks back in to allow garlic butter to coat each steak.
  • Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, or my epic air-fryer chips.
  • This meal pairs perfectly with a red wine like Pinot Noir.
