Prep Time: 5 minutes minutes
Cook Time: 10 minutes minutes
Servings: 2
Ingredients
- 2 10-12oz Rib-eye steaks
- 8 Dublin bay prawns/langoustines / cold water Norwegian tiger prawns
- 1 sprig rosemary
- Olive oil
- Sea salt & black pepper
- 50 g garlic butter
Instructions
- Heat a griddle pan or heavy-based frying pan over high heat with oil salt and pepper. Allow to smoke slightly.
- Sear and cook the steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side, for medium-rare or longer depending on personal preference.
- Remove steaks from the pan and wrap in tin foil, allow to rest and keep warm.
- In the same hot pan, cook prawns for 2-3, add garlic butter to the pan and place steaks back in to allow garlic butter to coat each steak.
- Serve with creamy mashed potatoes, or my epic air-fryer chips.
- This meal pairs perfectly with a red wine like Pinot Noir.
