The Work

The starting point is simple: it is not all about what we eat — it is about why and how we eat.
Aisling's workplace wellbeing sessions look beyond nutrition advice to explore the relationship people have with food itself.

What drives a craving?
How do we know when we are genuinely hungry?
What happens when food choices are shaped by stress, habit, environment or routine rather than hunger?

By understanding what sits behind everydaychoices, people can begin to create the space to make a different one.
At Zimmer, Aisling opened as the team's Food Relationship Expert, using a focused 15-minute session to explore hunger, fullness, cravings, triggers and hormones. The purpose was not to give employees another list of foods to avoid or rules to follow, but to help them understand the patterns behind their own eating and begin to see food choices differently.

From there, the experience moved into the practical. Aisling's philosophy is that the environment around us matters: when we remove barriers and make eating well the easiest choice, better decisions become more achievable. That thinking runs through the experience whether it is delivered remotely or in person.

The cookery demonstration then brought that philosophy to life, with truly satisfying breakfast and lunch dishes that put delicious food first while remaining nutrient dense, practical and realistic for everyday life. The focus is not on making healthy eating harder. It is on showing people what satisfying food can actually look like — and how easily it can fit into
a working day.

The Experience

The Zimmer experience combined education, food and practical takeaways to create a workplace wellbeing session that people could experience rather than simply listen to.

Food Relationship Expert:
A focused session exploring what we eat, why we eat, hunger, cravings, triggers and the factors that influence everyday food choices.

An Environment for Success:
A practical approach to removing barriers and making eating well the easiest choice, supported through an experience designed to work both remotely and in person.

Live Cookery Demonstration:
Truly satisfying breakfast and lunch dishes, showing that food can be delicious first while still being nutrient dense and practical.

Shop My Pantry:
Employees were invited to choose from Aisling's curated food-for-wellness pantry and take products back to their desk or home, extending the experience beyond the session itself.

Aisling's Natural Treats:
A final opportunity to taste, explore and experience food in a way that feels generous, social and enjoyable.

Overhead spread of fresh fruit, pastries, and flowers arranged on wooden boards and plates, including raspberries, grapes, star fruit, bagels, and brownies

The Results

The experience is built around one of Aisling's core beliefs: change mindset to change behaviour.
Rather than asking people simply to know more about nutrition, the session creates an opportunity to understand their own relationship with food, experience what truly satisfying nourishment can look and taste like, and leave with practical choices that fit into real life.
That is what makes the experience different from a traditional workplace wellness talk. The food is not simply the subject of the session. It is the vehicle for the conversation — and the starting point for making better choices feel easier, more natural and more sustainable.
From understanding the space between hunger and choice to creating an environment where better decisions are easier to make, Aisling's workplace wellbeing experiences bring together behavioural insight, practical food and genuine enjoyment to design food meant to truly satisfy.
